In the room-based arrangement, the cooling units base their operation on the overall temperature of the room, and their purpose of operation is to uniformly cool the entire room space. This method can be a combination of one or more cooling systems that take the supplied cool air to the consumer units and return the return air to it through channels such as false floor, channeling, etc. Due to the centrality of these systems and the lower ability to control the point temperature of different areas of the room, it is recommended to ensure proper cooling of these systems with tools such as computer simulations of air flow in the room (CFD) before implementation. This equipment is divided into two groups, gas and water, due to the working fluid. In the gas type, refrigerant gas is responsible for transferring heat from the environment inside the server room to the outside. While in the water sample, this task is carried out by the water fluid.
